How is everyone doing now that summer and/or winter is arriving with each of their own temptations to eat things we know aren't that great for us but remind us of nostaligic moments? I know so many of us are going through stressful things, too...that does not make it easy! Let's hear how it's going!
I have officially reached 40 lbs down since my fateful doctor's appointment in January. Will I keep it off this vacation week? We shall see! I'm hoping all the steps on the beach will stave off any fat storage.
I don't know if I mentioned my NP increased my semaglutide dose. I am feeling pretty good on it. I love that I can just say no to something now. I really wanted to try the tropical cream slush at Sonic. Took my kid there yesterday and we tried it, and I wasn't a fan, so didn't finish it. We both agreed: not something we'd order again. I would have not even considered that I could just stop eating it a year ago. Go figure!
I was experiencing a first for me on this medication: some hair loss. Now, I have short hair, so I'm really not used to SEEING hair on my shirts, on my pillow, in the sink. It was startling, but I started a multivitamin, switched to a satin pillowcase, and stopped shampooing every day, so we'll see how it goes. Things seem to be turning around. My NP felt it was temporary due to "sudden" weight loss. Trust me, nothing feels SUDDEN about losing weight.
I did show my co-workers that I need new work slacks...mine are quite roomy now! They agreed!

Yep! Our water is cold! Did that stop my kids from swimming at Sunset Bay State Park when we lived in Coos Bay? It did not! The trick is to get out and then get right back in...it feels warmer after that!
