Oh, I'm in tears after reading your story. So much emotion and so heartfelt, the journaling is so touching. So sorry about your loss of your mum. The black frame and leaves and sequin sprinkle is perfect here and so is the Love word art tied around the frame. I also really like how you shaped the journaling around the elements at the bottom right. Really beautiful page!

I read through tears. My precious mom and I went through this in 2024. A stroke brought her to the hospital, and all the diagnoses explained so much: the alcohol, the withdrawal, and the anger. Oh, I just want to hug you, sit and listen, and cry and babble and cry with you. We were able to get my momma in a home, 3 minutes from my house. The staff was amazing, and through messenger, many of the nurses and aids would give me updates when I was unable to be with her. Being with your mum had to be the best. I know, I was able to hold my momma too as she passed. The weight of all the past craziness has lifted, and the peace is so real. I felt it in your words; your page is tremendous.

This is such a beautiful capturing of this difficult journey. I couldn't help but chuckle at a few spots as they felt so close to my own experiences with my mom, but tears came as you walked through the decline. It's been a hard journey for you both, peace and love and hugs to you. Find a little time to take care of yourself.
Your well-written journaling had me walking through this difficult time with you. Grief is a long, hard journey. Be kind to yourself, take as long as you need and treasures special memories of your mom. Many virtual hugs from another traveler moving down the grief road.
Your journaling is so sad but I's so glad that your mom was accepted into a caring community and got the help she needed and that she had become a favorite of the staff.
