It is May!!!Welcome to a new month, and a new month of challenges here at the Lilypad! I can't believe we are in May! I am looking forward to all the fun things that May has in store for us (beginning with iNSD!!!!) I love May as for me it always feels like the preamble to Summer! Anyway, let's get on with the challenge for the month!I wanted to host the Style challenge this month, and thought it would be fun to revisit my challenge from MOC with a Clean & Simple style page!
It is real simple!! Less is more, so while I want you to scrap your way, please limit your elements and things to allow for your photo(s) and page to shine!!! Clean & Simple is just that... nothing cluttered, just free and airy.
Here is the page I created for my Clean & Simple page:

As you can see from my "a new beginning" page as an example, I have a lot of blank space on my page. I blended the photo into the background and then framed a small portion of my photo. This directs the viewer's eye directly to the center of the layout and showcases the beautiful rose. [I think this page would make a beautiful cover page to an anniversary book or wedding book. The photo I took while at the grocery store as they had a beautiful display of roses bouquets for sale! - Tip: Keep your cameras ready even in the grocery store for those beautiful moments!]

Remember our monthly challenge rules:
Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the May Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.
The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:
2 challenges = 10% off
4 challenges = 20% off
6 challenges = 30% off
If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
