I dislike Changes, but have a lot of them coming up in this next year. I am not an artsy scrapper, but tried my best to make this look "artsy". Also, it was the first time I typed 2026!
Thanks for this challenge, as it pushed me to finally settle on my "phrase of the year" (explanation in journaling on the page.) I, like @threadjungle above, have a lot on my heart and my mind as our city and state feel besieged. This page allowed me to define my hope and my attitude for the year.
Yep, a few weeks ago, AFTER I had chosen space as my 2026 word, I found a file on my computer in which I had listed my 2025 word as space. Hopefully, I'll pay more attention to my word this year.
Thanks for the great challenge Becky! It gave me a chance to create a page that went hand in hand with the Day 10 challenge and expand on the concept of my hopes to be less of a people pleaser this year.
Here is my page :
It took me a day for my word to come to me after doing a lot of exploring. I chose Renewal
I blended my photo and the mixed media film together -- first time trying this.
I also recolored the 0 to match my color scheme
I've been choosing a Word of the Year (WOY) for several years now so I already had the word. Looking at everyone's pages, I need to make a list for next year! Some great choices!
