Hi everyone!
As you may know, my eldest son is currently sitting his A-levels and was in the process of applying for university. He received his offers on Tuesday and has accepted his first-choice place.
It’s great news just before he sits his written exams.
Unfortunately, he didn’t get a room in the halls of residence, so now we’re looking for somewhere for him to live, as it’s a bit too far from home to commute every day.
He also passed his driving test this week.

But where have our little ones gone?

bless you. I'm going through this with my youngest at the moment. They grow up so fast.

Congrats on those huge milestones for him.
It's hard, the fact that if we have mothered them well they fly out of the nest and build their own lives.
Sending you a big cyber hug!

Congratulations to your son, and big hugs to you for your oldest leaving the nest!

Congratulations to your son, Gaelle! I hope he finds accommodations that suit him!

What a great week for your son! And yes... it happens SO fast!

My youngest didn't have a space in the dorms for his first year away at college either and it ended up being something he was really thankful for. He loved his apartment and had a room to himself which he wouldn't have had in the dorms, so it worked out for the best for him, so I hope that your son finds something he loves too! :)

Wonderful news - and he must be especially pleased with the driving license. Great to have that sorted before he heads off :-) (Speaking as someone who does not drive, and has offspring who probably won't for years if at all)!

Hope he finds somewhere great to live.

:-)

Congrats! That is amazing! But yes, they get big so fast! I get sad about it a lot, and mine is just 13 now. I want him to be small forever, but also grow up and be his best self! WAH!!!

I hope you find him a great place to live so he can study well!

Wow, what a massive week for your eldest, Gaelle!
Huge congrats to him on passing his driving test and getting his top university offer. That must be such a relief for him going into his written exams. :cheer
Best of luck finding him a great place to live.
They really do fly out of the nest way too quickly! :bird

That’s awesome he got his first choice place!

This is my daughter’s first summer with a driver’s license so she’s enjoying a lot more freedom this summer.

Congratulations to him!! I hope you are able to find a place for him to live without too much difficulty!
They do grow up soooo fast!!

Congratulations on your son, Gaelle! I hope you find suitable accommodation soon. Good luck with his upcoming exams.

Congrats to your son Gaelle! What a week!

It’s crazy, we work hard to get our kids independent but it’s always hard to let go when that time comes. I hope everything with his accommodation work out!
