I've got a friend going through something like this right now! Wild! In her situation it's that her mother got pregnant after having kids with her husband, and that daughter was given up for adoption, presumably because not the same dad. My friend was 5 when that happened and does not remember her mom being pregnant, so it was definitely kept a secret. Found through Ancestry.com or something. Love the way you scrapped the story full page with just a couple of photos in the corner. Your word strips are perfect. May I ask what font you used? That's so pretty!
What a wild story. Life was so different back then. I love how your story fills the page and the photos are in the corner. That was some hot tea there. Families can be something else. I found out that my mother-in-law had a sibling that passed away that she didn't know about until she was an adult. Italians would be at that grave site every single birthday.
How interesting! We had a similar thing happen in our family. We found a cousin we didn't know about fathered from my grandfather and met her years later as an older woman with three grown children. I love this story and how you scrapped it.

What an interesting story and, as in your case, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. Love the handwritten look of the journaling and the two small photos below. Thanks for participating in Lynn's Family History challenge.
What an intriguing story, and I love how you've scrapped it! The composition is perfect, with the emphasis on the journaling, but with a couple of lovely photos too. That blendy background with the pale pink paint is so pretty!
