Why It Works-Polly Challenges-Creatively Highlighting A Part Of Your Photo-Pearfect Ladybugs

Highlighting The Photos In Your Layouts Can Bring So Much More Impact To The Photos Themselves But Also To The Overall Design Of Your Layout & The Bonus Is That It Can Be SOOOO! Much Fun...The Ladybugs Are The Stars Of This Layout But Because They Are Pictured Separately For Effect & To Make You Think As You Interpret Perhaps What This Layout May Mean To You While You Gaze Upon The Layout...But Also Because The Photos Are Somewhat Smaller & Somehow You Still Need To Find A Way To Make Them Pop...Not Get Lost In All The Color & Show The Proper Impact To Fill Out The Page & Convey The General Design...I Started Out By Framing Each Pic With A Thin Linear Frame To Make Them Stand Out But I Wanted More Pop Than That...So I Added A Cardboard Frame On Top Of Each Ladybug To Draw The Eye In For A Closer Look...Mission Accomplished But I Still Wanted Even More Impact...So I Strategically Added The Black Paint To Hover Near The Ladybug To Draw The Eye In Even More & For Even More Impact...In The Bottom Photo...I Added 2 Extra Elements In A Diagonal Design For More Pop & The 2 WA Strips Across The Bottom Seal The Deal...But One Could Also Make An Argument For Impact Concerning That Rather Large WA/Word...Specifically The Word "PEAR"...As For The Other Top Photo...I Added Even More Paint Splatter In Red For More Wow! & That Yellow Piece Of Tape...& Then I Added That Wonderful Ever So Large Pear To The Right Of The Photo Since It Kinda Looks Like The Ladybug With The Same Kind Of Spots & Then I Added The 2 Extra...Rather Large WA Just To The Right Of The Large Pear That I Just Mentioned...Sometimes I Scare Myself...Thinking I Was Clever Enough To Come Up With This Idea...Ahhh...Probably Not...And Then To Finish This Look...I Added An Arrow To The Direct Left To Draw The Eye For Sure...Just Incase You Didn't See Everything Else...Ha!...Ha!...Ha!...I Had Too Much Fun Making & Designing This Layout With Rachel Jefferies New Mixed Media Pieces...I Literally Could Play All Day...
