Oh, that's so sweet of you! I was feeling like I had missed out on summer a little bit because of working and life stuff. I didn't get outside enough. So, the page was my reminder of how pretty it can be!
Gorgeous page Becky! I love that you never leave home without your border stitches I really love all the negative space here, and then that beautiful cluster of flowers and foliage. the texture on the background painting make it feel like an oil painting and love all the sprinkles of sequins and threads intermingled. The placement of your dragonfly element, fabulous! Thank you so much Becky for playing along with the November Random Challenge and congrats too on the Froggy Fav! Much deserved!

I love a finished border! What can I say? LOL! The funny thing is, I would never bother to do that with a paper page...what a pain to have to learn to sew on paper! To learn to sew at all...to drag out a sewing machine...ugh! Guess what...the picture I masked and used as a foundation in the center IS of an oil painting I saw once!

Look at that!!! How fun re the oil painting! (I have my Grandmother's 1964 World's Fair edition Singer Sewing Machine... -my brother took my Mom's 1964 World's Fair edition Singer... I have only sewn a few things as I am not big on it, but when I have to mend something I smile.)

Had to look up where the 1964 World's Fair was held! Good old New York. I see that Singer used to be in NY but HQ is in Nashville now. They've been involved in a lot more than sewing machines! So cool to go down that rabbit hole. My colleague was telling me even her grandmother has an antique foot pedal Singer machine, although she pronounced it Zinger!
