How pretty. Love these papers!

i can't imagine the extremes you moved from but i love the inclusion of the state road sign! And bright coloured houses with palm trees is pretty much my international impression of what a classic Florida street would look like so i love that your house is yellow and indeed has a big palm! (is this the one you deck out for Xmas?)

@bellbird It was pretty extreme, Justine. I was so glad that the day we officially left there was snow and everything was dark and gray. Yes, this is a pretty typical Florida neighborhood. Yellow is a popular color down here. The Santa hat that I hang in the tree is actually in a palm "bush", I'm not sure what they're called, but they're not very tall. People do decorate those high palms, but it takes a tall ladder. There are actually services that go around and people hire to do that.

A great way to document and contrast the two homes. And you actually left in the snow? A great incentive, yes?

@mcurtt Thanks, Marilyn! Yes, we left in the snow. It was an early spring snow, but that's not uncommon in Michigan. It was definitely an incentive to drive away from that.
