This project combines simple digital edits with a light, tactile collage and is a lovely way to include your own photos in your art books without overthinking it or hurting the originals -
Gather your photo, and Collage and / or Scrapbooking Supplies
Digitise your photo
If you are printing on fabric like me, prepare your print file (or you could use glue to do an image transfer technique but I experimented on printing on fabric) - I added artsy marks, image transfer and a stamp to my digitised photo and prepped it ready to print onto a scrap piece of fabric
If printing on fabric like me prepare your canvas for print - I made a very rough collage with some copy paper, a bit of a ledger sheet and glued on some fabric ensuring it was all sturdy enough to pass through the printer . . .
Next Step was printing the digital image onto the collage with fabric and then dressing it up with a few more elements from the Kit
@Karen it worked out quite well if it was thin fabric that could be glued down quite flat, a little risky but hey what the heck lol!! I used a piece of copy paper and added a torn ledger bit and then the thin cotton on the top, tried to have it all as flat as possible so it could go through the printer
