When I read the assignment for the journaling challenge, I had to think of that piece of paper from my grandmother, where she wrote down the angel poem she always said to us when we stayed the night at her house. I\'m not a religious person, but this poem holds special meaning to me. It appears to be a very old Dutch nursery rhyme from 1894! Translated in English, it says: "In the evening when I go to sleep, sixteen angels are following me. Two at my headboard, two at my feet, two by my right side, two by my left side. Two, covering me, two who wake me. Two who teach me the way of the Lord and two to show me the way to heaven's paradise."
I have used the following supplies:
Little Butterfly Wings \'A gift from heaven\' and \'Reinvention\'
Allison Pennington + Jenn Barrette Collab \'Once Upon An Imagination\'
Valorie Wibbens - Sprinkles Vol.3
amazing Anja! love the story and how you used that handwriting font and notebook to put the words down on your page. this is a treasure and beautifully scrapped!
Oh Wow, this is wonderful. What a special piece of your grandmother's heart you have here. It's beautifully scrapped with the focus right on the paper in the center and all the scattered hearts, stars and beads. Thanks for sharing.
