Oh my goodness! She was beautiful! A total Elizabeth Taylor look goin' on with her "little black dress" and perfectly coifed hair and eyebrows for days! Love that you captured stills from the video.

Thank you so much Becky :) I am thrilled my hubby transferred home movies to video so I could do this. :) Thank you for the sweet comments re my Mom.. the movie camera made her hair look dark chestnut, but it was more Auburn/Brown. I am not sure but I am thinking Dad took the movies before we went to church for the directory photo shoot. I love looking at the old family movies!

Gorgeous page, very precious photos. Love the colors and the picture treatment. Thanks for sharing.

I so love those photos of your Mom, Christa. I certainly see some Elizabeth Taylor in those pictures. How cool that your hubby has transferred the home movies to video. I have so few photos of my Mom. (She was always behind the camera.) Love the pops of blue and mix of textures. Another beautiful page from you, sweet friend. xo

Thank you so much Jen! Re Mom.. she was always behind the movie camera, Dad behind the 35mm taking photos for slides :) I know what you mean re more photos of your parents. The big problem was I think the cost of developing film back when too... now we take tons of photos as it is all digital, back when, the parents wanted to use film to photograph the kids... if only, right. So sorry you don't have many. Big hugs and thank you so much for the sweet comment re my Mom. Hugs my friend!

So glad you have the photos to turn into these gorgeous pages
Thank you Jennifer. She was 54 when she passed away in 1990. I was 28 and I still miss her and think of her every day. I am grateful to have these bits of her in photos/movies.

I love all the textures and the little pops of small ellies! She seems so photogenic! Great colors to go with your photos!
