MOC2021 - Day 7: Court of Honor

In the fall our son's Boy Scout troop was able to hold their first Court of Honor for the year (the spring one was postponed due to COVID). It was an entirely new experience to us being his first in Boy Scouts. This event was extra special given it could be in person (thank goodness for outdoor space at the church!) and he officially received his first rank (Scout) plus 11 merit badges! He made good use of quarantine time during the spring and summer to take virtual courses to earn them. Actually having the badges in hand and seeing his hard work pay off meant a lot during a very challenging time.
