Journaling Reads:
"Jen found a free Mah Jongg class at the Rhode Island Botanical Gardens. We all signed up for it because our group of women friends have been talking about learning to play. It was taught by a local group of women called the Gilded Birds and we had a teacher just for our one table which meant we really learned a great deal in two hours. I love that the game is strategic and social, but I also love the rituals of the game, the aesthetic beauty of the tiles and their tactile feel. I had to stop myself from going out and buying a set for myself just to look at! Normally lessons from this group are $50 each so we also got a great deal."
I chose Column 3 for this challenge : 2 or more photos, foliage, 5 or more lines journaling, at least 4 papers
It is a beautiful looking game, I'd be tempted by it too. How fun to find a class you could take. Beautiful Page with perfect colour matching and great story telling.
Thank you for creating this for my BINGO challenge.
What a fun experience for your group! I've never played the real game, just the tile matching games online, but I agree the aesthetic of the tiles is amazing. I think you SHOULD buy your own set (how's that for enabling?!) Love your large photo as a background for the page and the beautiful patterned papers you used...such a lovely color palette!
