This is so sad! I stopped in to check out the sales at my Joann's just before it closed but it never occurred to me to take photos. Such a good idea! Love the messy stitching, string a scribbles - perfect for your subject!
The end of an era! So sad! What a special thing to document, though. The messy thread pocket page was a perfect idea because the scene looks chaotic and probably was in the early days of the sales.
It's always so sad to see stores closing. I was just in a store today (not Joann's) that's closing. Our local mall closed a couple years ago. Brick and mortar is getting taken out one store at at time, sigh. Anyway, I'm glad you were make it in for one last visit and you did a great job scrapping the end of an era.
Thanks guys! @dawnmarch@scrapchyck@SeattleSheri I still am so sad about all these JoAnns stores closing. Online shopping cannot replace shopping for fabric when you need to touch and feel it or picking our paint colors when you need to SEE them.
