So, I went outside to call our cat, Iolaus into the house. He was our last indoor, outdoor cat. He made friends with a squirrel, he loved to watch my neighbor's Koi pond as if he was watching TV. I look up and see this adorable racoon's face and poor Iolaus at the bottom of the tree just asking to be friends. I brought Iolaus inside. He lived to be 21 years old. In his last year of life, outside wasn't any fun anymore, he had a few heating pads and ate whatever he wanted, like low sodium deli turkey. A good life!
