My photos from Carlsbad, CA. We were to escort my mother in law to a family reunion. Once there, her niece and the rest of the family were to take over and we were to have a CA vacation. We did visit with them on the first day, I got to meet many of the CA family. After that day, there was no more contact. My mother in law's niece who arranged for them to stay in a room at the same motel as us, didn't realize what she got herself into and quickly lost all patience. My brother in law is handicapped. My mother in law was developing dementia at the time. The worst part was asking her to bring them over to dinner at the motel, she was calling our home phone and getting angry that no one was answering. I finally sent my husband over to gather them up and she had attitude all night. The room phone wasn't working because BIL left it off the cradle. Can you say cluster chuck? My sweet mother in law kept thinking I was going to get lost because I was taking so many photos with my camera. LA traffic is a nightmare. I want to go back? I do.
