Love this! I like that you went with a white background, it looks so clean and it's easy to read. I agree - candy canes should be peppermint!
 
I love a great anecdote. It's these small stories that we need to tell , they give so much colour to our traditions, families and make for great reading. Never stop telling your stories.
 
Oh, this is awesome! Love that you scrapped this. I always love some good journaling- those that in 20 years will make people go "yes, now I remember!". Love the clean, almost magazine style design too!
 
I love your page! And I love the subject of the Canadian candy canes documented! I just bought a couple of days ago about 20 candy canes, probably not the Canadian type, as I am in a far away corner of the world, and I will try to use them this year as a decoration of the presents along with a small branch of Christmas tree.
 
Of course you HAD to use the red and white striped paper! What else would have worked with this documentation!?! Love this so much!
 
I really like how you kept the red and white stripe, but made it a border, definitely allows your candy canes to pop. I love that captured this shortage, I'm a fan of capturing and documenting those little stories.
