"Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon, February 22-23, 2026, we had a record-breaking Blizzard in Rhode Island. Our area got 36 inches of snow. Because it was also windy the snow drifted up against walls and doors. I had a total hip replacement 4 weeks earlier so I couldn’t help shovel, but as I was the first one up, I put on my coat and boats and used a broom to clear a path from the back door for several feet so that our Pug dog Chester could get out to go to the bathroom. It really was an incredible experience to see all of that snow! I sort of wish that I had been able to be outside helping and playing in the snow, but I’m grateful for an able-bodied husband."
3 feet of snow is no joke! The pictures looks so pretty to me though. I'm a snow lover, so I would have loved to have this blizzard. We had a ton of snow this winter, but never that much at once. This template works so well for snow pictures with the fun snowflake brushes you added!
That snow storm was no joke. Here in CT we got about 2 feet of snow. Your face says it all. Your face is also my face when thinking of all that snow. I love this page. I hope you are healing up perfectly from hip replacement. I am in awe of how you still got up and did the things that needed doing. You are made of tougher stuff.
