wow, I am not sure that I can compete with any of these!

and I am with Kaye, I haven't actually tried to lick my elbow yet, but that thought did cross my mind :)

When I was in 7th grade I won a big spelling bee and got a trophy about as tall as I was.

DH and started dating end of May, got engaged end of September, and got married mid-January.

I still wear one every night LOL...two reasons...to keep my teeth straight and because it helps with me grinding my teeth.

let's see...I once got hooked in the mouth while fishing with friends off a dock and the ER doctor laughed at me and had my boyfriend (now hubby) run to the truck for a camera to make sure he got a picture of it before he took it out. (There were a few beers involved so it didn't hurt)

My CB handle was "Sugar Britches" in my early 20s...yeah I'm redneck like that :)

I have a story from my youth...

we moved to Germany when I was 9 in the 1980's. Our first evening there, we stayed at a small, family owned hotel in adjoining rooms. The bathroom was down the hall (common at the time in European hotels) and I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I never made it back to my room. My younger brother woke my parents up a couple hours later when he noticed I was missing. They couldn't find me and completely panicked. They knocked on every door in the hotel, woke people up, and couldn't find me. The police were called and there was a room by room manhunt for me later that morning.

They found me in an empty, locked room on the same floor, in the other direction from the bathroom, snuggled up in the bed. Apparently, I went the wrong way into an empty room, locked the door and went to sleep. I was so jetlagged that I slept through all of the noise.

Hmmm a few little tidbits...not sure how many people on here know these things about me.

I started college when I was 16. I took my ACT and got accepted in as early entrance because I couldn't take my GED until I was 17.
I was the SysOp for a BBS in the mid 80s.
My first computer was an Atari 400, membrane keyboard and cassette recorder..those were the days (i can't tell you how much time I spent typing in code for games from magazines for them to throw an error cuz I mistyped something).
My introduction to computing was playing around with LOGO graphics at the university that my dad worked at.
Yes I'm a huge nerd (ok I'm sure y'all knew that about me).

    These are SO much fun!!!

I am a MAJOR sleep walker. On a nightly basis my hubbie has to literally "catch" me before I roam the house, and put me back to bed. I have learned I've done some pretty weird things, including breaking my toe... ALL while sleeping.

I ran for Homecoming Queen my sophomore year of college.
(It was a jr college in a small town. LOL) Totally out of my norm, but I did it! Never had a chance because every year they choose local girls, but it was an interesting experience to say the least. LOL

This is the most fun thread!!! I too wear my retainer every night and sometimes during the day if I'm stressed because of TMJ and I'm a major clencher... I too was a band geek in the color guard and did rifles and sabers and loved going to Disney... I got to go every year because I was a choir geek too... Krista, I'm a sleep walker too, there was one time I woke up and had a huge bruise in my bottom and in my room I found a broken table LOL... And one time I guess I complained about a migraine and my mom gave me some meds and the next morning she figured I'd stay home and was confused why I got up and ready for school, she told me what happened and I can't believe I took medicine in my sleep LOL...

I have to admit, I've been avoiding this thread because I'm such an open book that I can't really think of anything LOL...

I don't think I've shared this with my digi friends so hopefully this is new LOL... I once ran down the middle of the Eisenhower Expressway to get into another friend's car on our way to a Cubs game... traffic was at a slow creep so it wasn't really a big deal but I did get lots of people honking at me and telling me I was crazy, yelling out their car windows LOL

Funny about me... My first midwife ´s name was "Krátká" = Short
Second midwife´s name was "Dlouhá" = Tall
