My baby girl is at her year 6 camp (they left yesterday & come back tomorrow) due to other commitments I wasn't able to sign up to go for the full time this time but have just got back from an amazing day with them... they are seriously having a blast... low ropes course, bouldering, and archery and bb gun time too... was so good seeing her having so much fun and when the parents were offered a chance at joining in with the archery and bb guns I said yes please to the latter... last time I fired a gun I ended up with a beautiful black eye and bruise covering half my face... this time NOT so... and yes there was a little happy dance going when I hit the target two out of three times... friendly rivalry going on there with one of the other mums on camp... Took one of the kids out today as well who couldn't go for the whole time following an accident... she was such a trooper... and the dads were great carrying her up a steep little 50 metre incline to the shooting range (nor really accessible in her wheelchair otherwise!) Definitely a woo hoo day...
sounds like you had a blast Miss C!!!! I hope your baby has a wonderful time! Tash has a Year 6 camp this year too! Up to the mountains ... in Winter ... camping!! Glad I'm not going hahahaha!
As in tents in the snow in the winter Amanda? One blessing I guess could come from that... at least the snakes will be asleep!
sound like fun! i think it's great that they let you go for part of the time if you can be there for the whole thing!!
Definitely sounds like super fun and hurray for you Cheryl for not hitting your face but the target and not just once....hahahah!!! Of course I am teasing you! YOu sure did fabulous!!!
Mirjam trust me I was stoked to not hit my face either... really didn't want to end up with a black and blue face again...and to hit the target not just once but twice was a huge bonus...
LOL you are talking about sub-tropical Brisbane here Cheryl! No snow for my little rabbit ... just a bit chilly up in the mountains
