I'm doing the free course from Teela Cunningham I mentioned above, and just finished the first project. I made it into an anniversary card for my DS and DDIL (tomorrow). After doing the "Happy" and all the floral bits (which I did myself!!!!...no one more surprised than me!), I moved it over to PSCC to finish it up and change some colors. The color palette Teela used didn't look nearly as good on my iPad and cpu as it did on hers. But I am THRILLED with how my first project using my hand-drawn things turned out.

Bit the bullet and went wild this morning and spent the $9.99 for Procreate! Thanks @SharLamb for that info on the free class (which I'd seen before but forgot who had it....) because I sure don't find Procreate intuitive for my brain. Once I can see a workflow pattern I'm usually ok. When I have time sitting in the hospital I can watch the class! Yay!

Yay Maureen! It wasn’t intuitive to me either, but I’m feeling more confident with it every time I use it. Can’t wait to see what you do with ProC.
