Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) - I listen while at work - all kinds of music, but softly in the BG so I can work. Favorite Genre? - Country, Classic Rock, Pop, I can usually find any artist in any genre... I'm very open. Do you use online streaming? - Yes, I use Spotify. Family account. Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? - Yes!!! lol! I'm sad that the lawn pass isn't available for the venue by me... but I have a few concerts lined up in the next few months. I also love going to see bands (usually at local bars - so I go with DH or friends) and follow a couple to make sure I get my music fix. What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? DH and I chose Just The Way You Are by Billy Joel. We randomly chose it on a night out with friends when we heard it, lol! What song would make the best theme music for you? Oh goodness... I am going to think on this one. But it would have to be upbeat, fun, happy, and positive. I'd pry need one for my friends, and then one for DH. lol!
Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) Not much -- mostly in the car or when I work out. I just can't listen when I'm working or it begins to drive me crazy after a while. Yes, my sister and I go to music festivals every year -- usually the Innings Festival here in AZ and the Ohana Festival in Laguna Beach. We also went to Riot Fest (punk) one year. She has been pushing for Sea Hear Now and Oceans Calling. What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? Our song was Could I Have This Dance (for the rest of my life) by Anne Murray. An oldie but a goodie. What song would make the best theme music for you? I agree -- I have to think about this one!

Oldies (40s-70s), country, and miscellaneous songs that I just happen to hear Do you use online streaming? No, I prefer to buy my music via iTunes Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? Sometimes ... I dislike crowds and I'm not a fan of paying for a seat, then having to stand the entire concert. One of my fav concerts was The Monkees at a small local theater ... 95% of the folks were old like me and we SAT. What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? Our reception was in the church hall, no music. What song would make the best theme music for you? No clue
Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) Favorite Genre? I am all over the place LOL. We love singing along 'sort of ironically' to corny 70s music in the car on classic hits radio. My spotify playlist is a weird mix of moody stuff like Damian Rice or The National and old Brit stuff from Joy Division, Pulp and Fatboy Slim. When I'm working I like some meandering techno groove. Do you use online streaming? Yes, but I am too cheap to pay for the premium version. Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? Not often. I need to avoid crowds because of my health. Am making an exception later this year for Australian singer Paul Kelly (for the third time!). I used to go to big concerts occasionally and actually I saw Bowie in concert decades ago during his Serious Moonlight Tour What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? I honestly can't remember what the song, it's been decades since our first wedding. Our second 'wedding' was as small as could be (just bleating goats on a Greek island for the soundtrack). My husband's "song for me" though is "Sunshine on Leith". What song would make the best theme music for you? Definitely "I Will Survive". (My dancing group leader choreographed a whole routine to it for me at one point and it still features in nearly every class LOL) Which always makes me laugh.
Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) Sometimes. I love having the radio going while scrapping and cooking, but sometimes I just forget to turn it on. Absolutely not books. I forget to listen. Favorite Genre? I love almost all music. My two favorite bands are The Beatles & Rammstein - so all over the place really. Do you use online streaming? Nope. I listen to CDs or radio. Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? No. Can't handle large crowds. Messes with my anxiety. What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? We've been together for 35 years. He's still haven't danced with me. What song would make the best theme music for you? Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) Nope not really, the last time I did would have been when I was commuting - there's only so much of the same thing you want to see in a week. I get too distracted listening to anything if I'm doing something else like scrapping Favorite Genre? Pop, Country Pop or Acapella Do you use online streaming? Spotify, though while I'm mainly at home it's just the free version. My cellphone provider does offer cheaper premium prices though so when I'm back using music for commuting I'll subscribe again Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? Yes but no which sounds weird I know. Yes because I enjoy music but no because a) it's too expensive on my limited budget and b) it's just too taxing for me to manage as I have about a 90ish minute commute each way to go to the main concert venue on top of the crowds at the arena.
I'm a huge fan of 80s classics .... I tend to listen. To them most of all But I listen to all.sorts of music most the time and don't really have a type ....

Favorite Genre? currently pop country (Highway on XM) is what I turn on, but I like most all music really. I was a child of big music listeners singer/songwriter 70s, punk/pop in the 80s, grunge/rock in the 90s, pop/acoustic/country in 00s/10s, but country has always been a subtext - my mom and grandparents were fans and it's been the soundtrack of my life. My DH and DD are country music fans too, so we will sometimes go to concerts together. Do you use online streaming? Yes Sirius XM Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? Yes and no on big concerts... I do, but less than I used to. I prefer smaller venue live music. Our local Mexican restaurant has live music every Friday night (mix of everything and some Latin artist music also) it's very fun What song was your first dance at your wedding? We got married in 1994 and along with a lot of other people used "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from the Lion King... What song would make the best theme music for you? That's a hard one... honestly it has changed over the years. I have lots of songs that make me perk up and drop everything...

Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) I listen to music and podcasts throughout my day and I have been listening to music to fall asleep. I want to try a book again. I always loose interest in a book but I love podcasts so I’m going to try again. But now that baseball season has started there is usually a baseball game on in the background. Favorite Genre? Grew up with country music and listen to that most of the time. I do like 80’s rock music. Do you use online streaming? I stream on Spotify mostly. Sometimes Pandora on the tv. In the car it’s usually a local radio station. Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? We love live music. I like sitting at our local winery when they have live music in the summer. We do about 1 or 2 concerts a year. My bucket list concert is coming up in May…we are going to see George Strait! (With Chris Stapleton and Parker McCollum). I’m so excited for George! Hmmmm….when I was a kid the song I Love A Rainy Night by Eddie Rabbit was my absolute favorite. To this day when I hear this song it takes me back to being a kid and just loving music and life.

What song would make the best theme music for you? Honestly, I don't really have one. It really would depend on how I'm feeling at the time. @sthomas51004 I'm a little jealous. George Strait is my absolute fav. I've actually seen him three times but it's been 30 years since I saw him last. @umyesh I always forget about the SiriusXM app. We pay for SiriusXM in our cars but I rarely use the app. I do occasionally use it on my Echo Show. (I think because the app used to be so bad. It would constantly lose my settings.)

We play music with SiriusXM on the Alexa in the classroom all day and we go back and forth between the 70's, 80's, 90's, classic rock, and top hits. We didn't have dancing at my first wedding and the second was a courthouse wedding but, if I had to pick one, it would be I Love You by Climax Blues Band. Do you listen to music during day (or maybe books?) Only when I'm driving. I find it too distracting at work, and when I get home, I just like the quiet or am watching videos. Favorite Genre? On the radio, I listen to a contemporary Christian station Do you use online streaming? When I want to listen to other types of music, I use YouTube Music. Here's what happens to me: I'll hear a song I like, doesn't matter what genre. I put it in YouTube Music and play it a gazillion times. Then, I just let the next song magically appear and it will be something in that genre. YouTube knows I'm into Justin Moore, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley. I don't know who most of these guys are, but I listen to them on the generated playlist. Every once in a while, I will get nostalgic, search for a band I loved in high school or a 1970s playlist and let it play whatever comes up. Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? I do enjoy concerts, but I don't really make it a priority like some of my friends do. If I was invited, I'd go! Last concert I saw was TobyMac, MercyMe and Zach Williams. Before that maybe Chris Tomlin. And then years ago, the last big name I saw was Elton John. What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? Did not have any dancing. My husband would have been mortified, though he did dance with his daughter at HER wedding, which did mortify him, but he's a good daddy or wrapped around her little finger, one or the other. What song would make the best theme music for you? The song that plays the most on YouTube Music is Kinda Don't Care by Justin Moor. It's not a totally cynical song, but it's a song you kind of feel at the end of a long week.
I am so excited to see this concert! I honestly did not think this was ever going to happen. We are going to see him the end of May in Pittsburgh. He is also in Philadelphia on May 10th which is our anniversary but that weekend does not work. It's still my anniversary present just a little later. That means we just get to celebrate longer!

Hmm... right now if I'm listening to background music, my go to is a bunch of different musicals that I love. Otherwise, I love the 90s station, or my island mix that's like Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band and some older fun beachy songs too. Do you use online streaming? Yep. I was able to be the 5th person on my Sister's family Google plan, so I get YouTube Music and I LOVE it! Do you like concerts? or going to see live music? I go back and forth on this. I've been to a lot of concerts, some were great, some were 'meh'. I hate how expensive tickets are and I also hate that none of the good venues are close enough for us to just pop over to a concert, so they become long drawn out events where I have to drive far after the concert is over and I'm always exhausted. Lol. What song was or do you want to be the your first dance at your wedding? We had an obscure Jimmy Buffett song that I'm sure nobody else has ever heard of called "Bigger Than the Both of Us". What song would make the best theme music for you? I have no idea. Isn't there an older rap song that has a line like "She's crafty"? I guess that would be it for me! Ha ha!
So many still listen to CD's. I don't even know where mine are in my basement! Bet you had one of these, lol Many times I went to concerts since they were super cheap for me for the last 3-4 years, except covid year. I would get a lawn pass for $240 and could go to over 30 shows if I wanted. Best deal ever... though they aren't offering it anymore. @sthomas51004 You must be somewhat near to the northeast... I live in NJ. Stapleton/Straight and friends were at Giants Stadium last year... we couldn't go though on that date. It's such an amazing line-up and I was excited to see George was on tour! I looked at May 10th in Philly too... but it's too pricey. Even nosebleeds. Ugh. I've seen Stapleton a couple times and he is amazing. He sounds just like what you hear on the speakers. I hope you have an amazing time.
I'm in Pennsylvania. We are about 2 hours and 20 mins from Philadelphia and almost 4 hours from Pittsburgh. This will also be my first big stadium concert. I always said I would not do a stadium concert but I will do anything for George!! This will be my first time seeing any of them. I'm so excited!! Normally we would not have paid as much as we did for tickets! I was shocked when my husband told me how much the tickets were and he still went through with the purchase.
I do still have my CD's (but not a holder like you showed) but I did burn them all to my computer years ago. That was back in the days that I was going to a gym and using my iPod for music to work out to (2007/2008). Now I've got that music on thumb drives and I have a Victrola 8-in-1 Record Player that I will plug it into and let it play for hours. I can also use the USB in my car.
