    What do you have planned for this week?

    *sigh* This is my week of
    :dizzy:cry:faint2
    because my baby goes to kindergarten roundup and my oldest goes to high school orientation. It's too much for this mama. Wah.
    It's a busy week all around- gearing up for BYOC and other fun Pad stuff too.

    Is it Monday already?!?!?! Where did the weekend go? I'm not ready for Monday!

    Aw Laura....it'll be okay, I promise. But life goes by quickly when they're in school. Mine have been out for 8 years and it still seems like yesterday they were just starting K-grade. {{HUGS}}

    This week, other than working:

    Need to get the oil changed TODAY in my car. I'm at 1% or whatever that means but my car keeps telling me to CHANGE OIL SOON! Oh, and I'm making my family's favorite dinner, Crawfish Etouffe. (Okay, I know not everyone likes it but it sure is yummy!)

    And I'm totally siked about BYOC this week! Yea, February is almost here!

    awww Laura I know how yucky that feels. Hang in there Mama. I listed a bunch of paper scrapping stuff on Kijiji and sold most of it in 1 day-whoo hoo! I hope the rest sells this week so i can shop it up here! The temps are mild this week so lots of outdoor time!

    This is my last week of "freedom" before starting my new job next Monday! Today I have to clean a bit around the house (so instead I'm procrastinating at TLP...). On Wednesday I'm going to start the kids at daycare for the rest of the week so they can get adjusted before I start work. That way I'm readily available if need be. Which means that Wednesday I'll be a blubbering mess because they've never been at daycare for more than about 3 hours - and even then it was with a friend of mine. But while they're gone I fully intend to spend the days reading, running & scrapping.

    Another laid back week for us, more school and chores, the things that never end. Our homeschool group is doing a robotics program on Wednesday which DD is really excited about.

    Yikes, not a good Monday morning for me... I got hit on my drive to work! :driving Just minor damage to the car, but it's a huge nuisance - we only have the one car, and now we have to bring it in for repair. It was my first time in an accident as a driver, and it was so weird! Anyway, now I have to catch up the stuff I was supposed to get done this morning. The rest of the week is pretty much scheduled to be busy as usual, but I might end up working from home on Wednesday if we bring the car in to get an evaluation.

    I need to finish up my PL week, I just need to print a couple of pictures and cards. But I also must find more time for the BYOC this week - I love the BYOC every month, but this time it's been impossible for me to narrow it down to just a few things, so I have a ton of goodies to play with! :beat

    Hugs Laura and Shannon!!

    This weekend sure did fly by! We have something every night this week and then unfortunately we have to go to my husbands grandfathers funeral on Thursday. He was 90 years old and was one of the coolest and sweetest people ever. His wife passed away three years ago and he's been so sad and missing her ever since, so in a way I'm really happy to know that they are in heaven and back together where they belong. But it's still sad to say goodbye.

    Oh! Just saw your post above mine Cristina. So sorry about your accident! Glad you weren't hurt! But that so stinks about having to get your car fixed. I hope they can get it done quickly for you!

    Ugh Cristina! Glad it was a minor accident, but I hear ya on the inconvenience! I got rear ended this summer while sitting at a red light, so I feel your pain. To make matters worse, the guy who hit me was uninsured, so I had to pay the $250 deductible to get it fixed. How is that for unfair. I was just sitting there minding my own business one minute, and the next minute I'm dealing with the insurance company, and out $250. GRRR.

    Anyway, I feel your pain. Hope they fix it fast!

    Shannon - we might have to plan a good online cry this week. :wub hang in there!
    Cristina - glad you are OK and it was only minor. It's amazing how much it can shake you up even when it's just a fender bender.
    Karen - sorry to hear about your DH's grandfather {hugs}

    Oh no Cristina! Glad you are ok....

    Laura, the baby going to kinder is always sad for the Moms. But it is so exciting for them!

    I have to take Kenzie to her 10 1/2 yo checkup with the pediatrician tomorrow. I think she may need to get some shots before 6th grade too, but I am not mentioning that til the Dr. brings it up. So I have to leave work early and get her out of school a little early to get across town for the appt. Other than that, it is just work as usual.

    DH and the kiddos drove me totally insane yesterday, so I am so glad that SS is off to his mom's for the week, DH is at class and work, and DD is currently taking a nap!:yesss

    I think DH has another dentist appt this week. I have the usual errands to run. It's officially Super Bowl Week here in the city, so things are pretty crazy. I plan on hitting the grocery store sooner rather than later this week, and then DH, DD, and I will be hibernating at home to avoid the chaos by the end of this week. I plan on getting started on my December Daily 2010, too.

    aw Laura *sniff* they get too big, too fast!

    Cristina, :( that totally sucks!

    Karen, sorry about your loss :(

    we're just trying to get rid of the sickies this week! my youngest got sick last weekend and is still fighting it now. she's super bummed because she's "star of the week" this week in her prek class. i'm hoping she can at least get to school the rest of the week. so far, so good today *fingers crossed*

    i got results back from my U/S today and everything is fine. which is good, but it doesn't explain the mystery nausea and pain in my side.

    i'm soooooo excited it's almost february. only 16 days until we leave!!
