Oh gosh - this one is so hard!! I really really LOVE 3/7 I did this week, and each for different reasons. I think in the end, this was my favorite though. I was so proud of myself for extracting the red shoes and placing them on the figure on the picture. It looked like they were meant to be on her feet. I also loved the cut out technique, something I had never done before. It just felt fun, retro, and interesting to look at. My husband thought my train one (blended photo) was my best, and it did get the most comments, but I love my Vintage Glamour one best!
Ok, ok, I guess I didn't read carefully! I didn't see the "you created" part! I don't want to take away from the layout I favorited, hope its ok to leave it there. This is my fav of my own this first week: I too had a hard time deciding. I really liked how the blended photo came out, so I guess it wins. I so loved that wagon!!!
That is like asking what child is your favourite! Each is unique in their own way. I think this one is the one I would pick today (tomorrow it will likely change again) I would never thought to cut out a train shape out of journaling, but I love the effect it gave.
I'm going to go with this one b/c I'm not really a blending fan yet I love how this page turned out! It's way more simple (but effective!) and I just love my sweet baby's face in the photo! She's turning 9 in a week and I miss her like this!
Hard choice - my fave fave is the one that actually didn't qualify for the challenge: But fave that did ... I love the photo I came up with for the depth of field challenge challenge, but fave layout overall has to be this one: I'm a sucker for yellow, matte black, and cream combinations.
Love all the challenges and it's hard to choose one. My favorite is the Dream Bucket List because it was fun thinking and dreaming of my bucket list and using the watercolor brushes and settings by Christa @cfile in the Blending Photo Technique challenge to blend in the cherry blossoms.
The mood board challenge was probably my most challenging this week. I really have enjoyed them all, but the one that I probably have never done before was the shape over text. I have been wanted to scrap the memory of my son and I playing together and this gave me the idea of how I wanted to do that.
I have a few faves so far. My favorite challenge were the technique and the grid challenge. My favorite layout is this one for the moodboard challenge.
I have thought about it. LOL I love them all, but I will have to say today I am going to go with the cut out one. I loved my blending challenge as I love the pop of color from the framed photo, I love the shallow depth of field as it allowed me to play more with my new iPhone and practice (and I have been doing more taking of those photos so thank you @FarrahJobling for helping with that ) and the blind scrap as that is always fun to see what everyone does with the instructions.. I loved the grid so I could show off more of my ornaments, and then of course the mood board and bucket list as they are so great to stay goal oriented and focused. SO really all of them All of that to say I like the fun of the cut out as it was something I never thought of trying before and everything clicked re the definition i did, the photo and the elements.. I was just happy with my clean and cohesive page! Thanks you for the first week of MOC challenges.. here is to week 2!!
I loved all the challenges from the first week and so it is difficult to find my personal favorite but I think it is my page for Christa's challenge @cfile
My fave is this one: I've usually a c&s design but this challenge make me thinking outside the box, and i'm really happy with this lo!
Like everyone, it's hard to pick just one from this first week. However, I chose my Bucket List challenge page for several reasons. First, I struggled with it. Photo-less pages are not my thing; and while this wasn't a requirement, it felt like this page shouldn't need photos. Second, I joined my first ever "Watch Cheryl Scrap" episode on Monday night and was inspired both but what I observed her doing to create the challenge page and LOVED that she provided a link to her free paper warp action. I so want to learn better how to use my scrapping tools and this was a great reminder about actions! Finally, I just love that it got me to get goals out of my head and put them on the page. For these reasons then, this is my favorite from week 1.
I liked the challenges this week, but I think this is my favorite because I love the photo of my son and his cat!
This one (your grid inspiration!) came together better than I expected so it's definitely my favorite:
It was really difficult to decide which one I liked the best! All the challenges of the first week have been awesome This is the one I decided on.
