Week 2: Healing/Health/Wellness Welcome to week two of the the May Art Journal Muse. For the month of May, we are creating Positive Affirmation bookmarks plus a layout to go with it. Positive affirmations are simple, feel-good phrases you say to yourself to build confidence and stay positive. They help shift your mindset by replacing negative thoughts with more uplifting ones. When you use them regularly, they can boost your mood and help you feel more in control and motivated. For week two, we are focusing on healing/health/wellness affirmations. This can be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. You decide where you focus needs to be most this week. Here are a few affirmations for each focus area. You are free to use any of these or choose one of your own. Physical Health I treat my body with care. Each day, I feel a little stronger. I give my body what it needs. Moving gently feels good. My body knows how to heal. I appreciate all my body does for me. I’m learning to care for myself with love. Mental Health It’s okay to feel what I feel. My mind can find calm. I’m allowed to ask for help. I choose kind thoughts. I’m doing my best today. I am enough as I am. Peace is possible for me. Emotional Health I welcome my feelings. I listen to my heart. I deserve emotional peace. I let go with love. I can handle hard moments. I choose compassion. Healing is happening. Spiritual Health I am connected to something greater than myself. Peace begins within me. I trust the journey of my life. My spirit is calm and grounded. I am guided by love and light. I am aligned with my purpose. Gratitude fills my soul. (Okay, I had too much fun using ChatGPT to create these.) Here is my page. Rules for Week 2: Create at least one bookmark plus a layout to display the bookmarks. The focus for this week is Healing/Health/Wellness positive affirmations. Every bookmark(s) + layout you create is equal to one entry in the random draw. So if you create 1 bookmark + 1 layout you are entered once, if you create 2 bookmarks + 2 layouts you are entered 2 times - so you need to have at least one (1) bookmark on one layout - you can make more than one bookmark if you like and add them all to one layout but it will counted as one entry. You can create any style of page ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc,. Your page can be all digital or hybrid. Wherever the inspiration takes you as long as you include TLP products on your page. Please post your layout to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE prior to Midnight EST June 1st, 2025 and then post it in this thread by copying the code (at the right of your gallery image) from the box under "Share BB Code". You can use any products in the Lilypad store or retired products from current Lilypad designers, (just make sure you follow our gallery guidelines). Free Bookmark Templates: Here are some bookmark templates that Ona created if you would like to download and use them. You can either just leave the other layers hidden or just delete them and save again. I can't wait to see what y'all create.
This is a great topic to scrap about, it seems the older I get the more aches and pains I get so I definitely need to incorporate more positive healing affirmations in my daily thoughts!!! Thanks Cindy!
