I was computer-less for about a week but I hadn't forgotten about voting. Had to get the new stuff set up because creating polls on the phone is super not fun. You still have 7 days to vote :)

I voted for Made You Up and will be reading that one soon anyway... have to go look up whose suggestion that was. :) I also already read The Light Between Oceans (twice) and Big Little Lies, so both of those are good ones. The Silent Sister also got added to my To-Read list. So many good choices! :) Can't wait to see what we pick!

The Silent Sister was good -- I had it on my hold list from when it was in the running for January.

I might try to get in on this book club!!! I have never been much of a "reader", but have gotten into it more recently! I have no clue on what "my favorite" type, so not sure I should vote - I can be up for anything I am sure!

Can I just say that I ADORE The Light Between The Oceans - and not just because it's set in Western Australia!! It is not emotionally easy to read in parts - but just beautiful.

Crossing fingers for an adult book, with a bit of suspense. wish I could vote for 2 , because I bought Sister by Rosamund Lupton, when I read the burb , it really sounds good, but I am holding of reading it for now in case the March choice is a thick one, and I wont have time to read 2... and Sophie Hannah's because I nominated it.

I voted! Girl at War. I'm currently gobbling down Val McDermid's crime mysteries so a change of pace will be good.

I voter for Fates and Furies but would be happy for any on the list. Will be interested if The Lake House gets up to see what people think of the ending...

I broke the tie with Lake House - ONLY because I've already started it (and had to turn it back before I finished :() and I'm not sure I'll have time to read two next month.. I added several to my "to read" list, though, and would be happy with many listed here.. :D

I still have 2 ahead of me for the LakeHouse -- I put a hold on it 12/24 when it was nominated for January. So, I'd be happy with that result.

Finding it difficult to get hold of The Lake house , and I refuse to pay $15.00 on A Kindle copy when I don't know the author ..... I will keep trying.

So it's The Lake House? I just put a hold on it at my library. I'm number 15 on 20 copies, so there's hope I'll get it before the end of March.

Meanwhile I've been reading a few other books since Ready Player One. First, How To Tell Toledo From The Night Sky by Lydia Netzer. Strange, but I think I still want to read it. However, I got sidetracked by another book I checked out at the same time, when they sent me a due date reminder email and I found I couldn't renew it because someone else had requested it, called Speak by Louisa Hall. It was interesting but confusing -- probably in part because I read it so fast.

Was The 5th Wave one of the books nominated for February here? Because at the beginning of this week I got a notice it was on hold for me at my library and I couldn't remember having requested it. Well, I'm engrossed in that horrifying story right now. I wonder why I'm so fascinated by tales like this set in the future, especially when they're horrifying stories, and one idea came to me this morning. They make me feel more grateful for what I have, and I like feeling grateful.

    Back to reading! :)
