Fun challenge. I thought of how a child draws a tree. My trunk made of paint brushes, the branches/limbs of pencils and the leaves of paint and triangles. A old, old song talked about wrapping a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree and I couldn't get that out of my head -- hence the yellow ribbons flying. And if you look closely the background paper has the word "create" over and over on it. That appealed to me since I was creating a tree. So here it is:
Hi all - yes, Karen is right, I don't expect you to necessarily create a real leaf from scratch! Foliage and realistic leaf elements or pre-made limbs or leaf clusters from a kit are fine, but like Karen said, the 'no pre-made trees elements or templates' rule has to do with 'complete trees'.
There was something about how cold it was today that I had to make my own tropical isle complete with palm tree.
Argh. This one has me really stumped. Get it...tree stump...see what I did there? Hate getting behind but I’m going to have to try again tomorrow!
