    This one was difficult... we live on the other side of the world from where we were born and don't really have any heirlooms with us... but one thing we do have is my mother-in-law's old recipe card.

    My “heirloom” is a recipe that has been handed down through three generations and is a requirement every Thanksgiving and Christmas for our extended family gatherings. It was originally made by my great-aunt, then my mom, then myself, and now my daughters for their own households.

    Thanks for the challenge, Christa! Though it may seem silly, this is actually a story that is important for me to document.
