Beautiful board! Here's my take on the challenge. My goal is to give myself Me Time in 2019. I want to set a goal not only to let myself have time for me, but to teach my children that it's okay for me to take that time. 1. The Droste effect of the woman holding a frame of herself holding a frame etc. 2. having a black and white photo 3. The color palette (I used Jan 2019 BYOC products to make sure they matched lol!) 4. writing on the photo, though I used a typewriter font instead of a more natural handdrawn look because I wanted it to fit on the Kindle cover. But I did love the handwritten look of the background paper. 5. the beautiful handpainted look of the small almost-square navy/orange art piece
I was inspired by the - color palette - doodled lines - all the girls made me think of LBW's little girls (so I used one of those) - the butterflies - used the purpose quotes for title and journaling - the AJ style image
For some reason I had a hard time getting started on this challenge and did 6 before this one. My goal for this year is to be more focused and decided I wanted to incorporate a little humor into it, thus my search for the perfect cross eyed photo. I actually used a filter on it to make it a bit more painterly so one of my requirements were made. 1. Painted Portrait 2. Paint sample 3. cluster of layers instead of flowers 4. Grid used behind the lower blue collection 5. Frame from girl on tracks
This one's definitely out of my comfort zone, hence the reason I'm a day late! That and learning new software at the same time. The inspirations I took from the board were: 1. colour palette - use the teal and the navy 2. Marc anthony quote from centre 3. style of chalk writing from bottom left photo 4. never let your fear decide your future quote 5. 2D drawn portrait 6. made heart dimensional on the drawing - the umbrella is dimensional on the fence drawing Goal for the year - less planning, more doing
This was a good one and fit well with my goal for this year - Focus on Positivity. mood board inspirations were: 1. color palette 2. abstract girl (to fit in with the painting and all the other girls in the mood board) 3. butterflies 4. quote (so perfect for what I need to focus on this year!) 5. paint splatters / art journal feel
My 5 - 1. Color pallette 2. cluster of frames 3. quote - the things that excite you 4. quote - follow your purpose 5. the paint - used the rain dripping as inspiration for hte paint border Goal for the year - get my running speed back down to where it was 3 years ago!
Five things from mood board: 1. The color palette 2. The overlapping shapes of the mood board 3. Flowers 4. Quote “never let your fear decide your future” 5. “follow your purpose”
five points of inspiration: the color pink, the frames, the splatters, the handwritten-looking words in the background, the flowers
Wheew! This was a toughee! Mostly because it was so subjective- I mean, one person's mood board may thrill or seem dull to another. This didn't exactly come out as envisioned, but I'm happy it's done! My 5 items: the double frame image, quotation on page sketch colors text on image
This one was hard!! Inspiration - Brick wall. Painted face. Quote. Butterfly. Muted color flowers. Flower cluster. My goal is to find myself now that my girls are all grown and pretty much out of the house. I think this quote is about finding yourself.
This was a tough challenge for me. Here's mine: 1. Collage style layout. 2. Black & white photo. 3. People on a train track. 4. A strip of circles. 5. Multiple quotes.
