A difficult one to finish on, I was stumped as to what to scrap about, but I think I came up with something that works AND is dear to my heart.

Please, please set my mind at ease - I believe templates are 15% of a layout? Everything else here is Lilypad, but I'm freaking out that I have it wrong!

I love crossing the bridge, or taking a plane or the ferry, to an island. Surrounded by water, a world unto itself, islands represent my psyche. Whether they sit in salt water or fresh the isolation, the difference from the mainland, makes them special. I grew up on an island my first few years. Westport Island, in Maine, where it was a big deal to go off island. The bus ride each day did remove me from that little enclave, carrying me well over an hour back and forth each way. I visited Westport (going to the new bridge) over the summer. The feeling is still there. Knowing the little community is still there brought nostalgia, and comfort. I also adore traveling to an island via cruise ship or plane for vacation. Even for work, when I was fortunate enough to get to Hawaii my first time! The island thread weaves itself into my personality and job, too. I have long been the only one doing what I do for work. While I’ve had a couple of colleagues recently who kind of sort of do what I do, I’m still an island, a unicorn if you will, doing my job. Also I’m out there on my own, rarely seeing colleagues but getting the job done. All in my own little island.

I had more fun with this than I expected. Totally not something I have ever thought to do. Thanks for a wonderful challenge.

Ack! Two journaling challenges in a row! Once I decided on a topic, though, the words came easy. Thanks for an amazing challenge!

Every since Indiana's opening in 1995 when we received our decoder card while we waited in the long, long line that wrapped all the way thru the queue, out Adventureland, into the Hub and into Frontierland, we have loved pulling it out while we wait in the (now much shorter) lines and decode the messages on the walls. We quickly found out that anything that is carved in stone is messages from the ride and anything painted on is advertisements for then sponsor AT&T.
Our favorite message by far, it this homage to the Big Mouse himself. Decode it, it is Mickey Mouse
We like to say hello to Mickey

I've still got one more day to finish, but I wanted to get this one posted. My journaling is in the credits. Thanks so very much for this challenge, Laura. You always wrap up MOC with a challenge that makes us take the time to take a look back, and I love that. Everything you do always means so much!

Wow, every page in this thread is phenomenal! I'm definitely going to have to come back through and read them more thoroughly. It's hard to believe this is the last challenge of MOC7!

This is a very special story to me. I took a 23&Me test last year hoping to find out more about my ethnicity and it turns out I gained a lot family! I met one of my sisters for the first time in August (she's on the left). This picture was taken a few minutes after we met. Her favorite color is green and mine is turquoise, so I thought it was appropriate to scrap accordingly :)

For some reason it was too big for the gallery no matter how small I made it! I had it down to a 2inch square and it was still too big! Had to use the 2inch size and shrink that for web. Hope you can see the basic look of the Traveler's Notebook - Hope this is ok!!
A little bigger but not much!
    Here is my journaling:
Journaling left side Because of this
In June of 2016 we started on a cruise that had a stop in Sweden. This had been a dream of mine - to set foot in the country where my grandmother was born. We started out in England. It was an excting time! There were stops in Belgum, Denmark and then Sweden. As the day approached to visit Sweden, the weather became very stormy. Since the ship couldn't dock in a port in Helsingborg it has to put anchor down a ways out and tender passengers on to the port. The choppy water made it too dangerous for this to happen so they had to skip Sweden! This stop was the reason we were taking this cruise. I was so disappointed but enjoyed the rest of the trip.
In April of 2017 we found another cruise that would stop in Sweden and again boarded in England. Surely things would go good this time - but - no, this time it was too windy and the captain would not go there! Again it wasn't t be and I decided I would not get to visit Sweden.
Right side I got to do this!
Fast forward to July 2018 and we were able to find a small boat cruise on the Gota Canal in Sweden that goes across the country from Stockholm to Goteburg. After getting off in Goteburg we were able to take a train to Angelholm and take a short walk to Rebbelberga and see the church that my grandmother was baptised in. They even still have the actual baptismal font that was used when she was baptised in 1872. So because of two failed attempts I was able to see the acutal place she atended church and do more than just step foot in Sweden!

@crlin when I view it in your gallery it's very small. Did you post a 72 or 300 DPI image? I always go by pixels (usually 700x700). I hope you find a solution!

I tried it at 700x700 it was still too large for the gallery! I went as low as 200x200 and for some reason it was still too large and the gallery would not accept it! I'm hoping this will work as I spent all day trying to figure out what was wrong! I have never had a problem like this before. It is a 72 DPI image as I always do. Should it be 300? I thought that would make it too big.

73 Words -- my connection was how it has been 2 years since one of my grandchildren died and how we always do a group shot at Christmas

Not sure my journaling can be read so here it is:

It's hard to believe that we just celebrated our 2nd
Christmas since David passed away. He passed away so
suddenly that it still seems like a dream.

He had such love for everyone and loved the magic of
Christmas Visiting with Santa Claus was a joy and
something he looked forward to every Christmas.

He loved his siblings and also looked so forward to
seeing his cousins. The kids are so resilient and bounce
back so quickly but they still talk about David being in
    Heaven and watching over them

You're right, 72 DPI is preferred for the web, but really the DPI doesn't matter if you go by pixels, so you should be good either way. If you were going by inches and accidentally had it set to 300, that could make it big, but it doesn't sound like that's the case. Have you tried using a different browser?

Here is what it looks like to me when I go to the image in the gallery:

When I save for the web, it's 600x600 pixels, 72 resolution, and file size less than 250 KB. I think your file size might be too large for the gallery.
