Here is mine, word total is 112. The most difficult part of this challenge was deciding what to scrap about. Thank you ladies for another fabulous MOC!

I am not sure I did any favours to the format, I will have to practice I s'pose.

This was way out of my comfort zone and took me a while to come up with my plan, but I am so happy with the result! It was so fun.

Journalling: I met Laura back in 2001. I believe this was the year that she started to date our friend John Smid. We became fast friends and our group of friends did lots together through the years, like cottage getaways, dinner parties, bike shows, and more. Once we were both married, we would often visit John and Laura in Milton. One day though, we got the news that they were moving to Pennsylvania because of a new job. We were sad to say good-bye, but happy that they were only three hours away. We managed to fit in more visits in Pennsylvania, even after we started having kids, and sometimes John and Laura would be around for a New Years eve party, or for a quick visit after a birth of a baby. In 2009, their family even joined ours and Brian and Alanna at the cottage for a week. A few years later, we heard that John's work was now taking them to Texas. Thankfully Laura joined Facebook then and we stayed in contact that way. In October of 2016, I got a call from Laura that they were looking to move back to the area, and to send their kids to Hope RCS with our kids. I was beyond excited! I am so thankful to have them back in Ontario, and living less than 10 minutes from our house! I'm so thankful for Laura, and her friendship. She has really been there for me as someone to talk to, and someone who looks out for me and my well being and I'm blessed to call her my friend.

I had so many ideas for this one but I wasn't sure which one fit this challenge the best. Hopefully this captures the true spirit of the challenge; I really tried. Thank you for hosting the last challenge. I always look forward to it at the end of MOC.

Thanks for the wonderful challenge. Sorry mine is so small, I used your 3x8 guide - I kind of like the tiny format.

Journaling is about how I minored in German in college. I even did a summer abroad, studying and traveling in Germany. However, after college I didn't have much opportunity to use the language and if you don't use it you loose it! 20+ years later, my youngest daughter is in a dual language immersion program and the only language offered is German! It has been really fun to reconnect with the language. She is much more fluent than I ever was. :)

I struggled to find a story, so hopefully this one will do.

    Journaling:
When I was about ten, I met **** We were at the same school, and sometimes in the same class, for the next five years. We weren’t close friends but often sat together when we were in the same class.
Turns out my Dad worked with her mother and played soccer with her father.

One night we went out to meet a friend who was bringing his new girlfriend. To my surprise it was ****. They married, moved overseas and we lost touch.
A few years later, I take my infant child to Jumping Beans - low and behold we meet **** there, so we got to catch up each week until the kids outgrew the activity.
Different schools, different suburbs and yet we kept running into each other. The next place was Gymnastics when the kids were in different classes held at the same time. We would chat whilst we waited on the sideline. Then it was swimming lessons where once again we would gossip whilst the kids swam.
