I decided to look into the abyss of my eHD to find a super old layout. I chose this one circa 2009. Oh how my scrapping has changed since then. Here is my new layout...
My original and my redo are below. Credits and my thoughts on it are in my gallery. So happy to have had this challenge!
Here's the old: It's stinks. I think I was trying to catch up on MOC. It's the same photo cropped to be a smaller one, too, so I hope it's OK I only used the photo once. LMK if I need to add the small round one, too. Here's the new: I love it now.
The "old" version is from 2012 The pattern background paper and cluster take a lot of space. Furthermore I didn't like anymore the photo treatment where we can't even recognize and see the correct colors or corn, tomatoes and so on... Here's my new version
This is always a tough challenge for me. But here goes… old I cleaned it up a little and made the journaling more prominent
Here is my first one- I think the template was a freebie but I no longer have it so I wasn’t able to give credit. Ended up using the same kit and a different template. Much better!

Apparently this is not the first time I have played with these pages again. I found 2 different versions in my files. This is like the 2nd and 3rd digi pages I made. I just used free kits and I was using Picture It! Digital Image Pro. Originals: New:
The Original: In the middle of re-doing this, I realized that what bothered me most about the original was that the title "Super Bowl" didn't go with the photos. Yes, we were at an Aunt's house for the Super Bowl, but the real story was about finding family in the Bay Area. Without that title, I'm much happier with the layout.
Here is my original. Oh, my!! I was so pleased with it way back in the day...now I cringe...the shadowing/no shadowing is terrible! The photo is old...even back then. So there isn't much I can do with them. But they still have stories to tell. Here is my do over. I love making a 12 x 12 page and then putting it on an 8.5 x 11 layout. I like to layer papers top and bottom with the 12 x 12 centered on the page. I like that so much better than just a straight 8.5 x 11. So I'm happy with my do over.
