January 22: Large Photo with Pop Out

Not sure it shows up very well, but I popped out the white buildings. Fun challenge that I can see lots of use for!

Thanks for the challenge. I wanted to bring to attention the caramel apple that I got.

This is a fun technique, really useful for busy photos, thanks for the reminder.

Same photo: I enlarged it, outlined, and pulled it up.

 

This was interesting... When I first read the challenge, I thought we were to slightly enlarge the pop out... But in going through the gallery I saw so many where that was not the case... Then I looked at the argyle sample and realized that although it looked enlarged, it actually was not... I made 2 for this challenge and decided to go with this one, but the pop-out did not really pop out!!! so I did slightly enlarge it, to make it more prominent... fun challenge I will use again.... this is part of my album of my trip to Spokane in July!

The North/South freeway in Spokane has been being built for maybe 50 years... a LONG process... They were buying up peoples property for it when we left in 1975. that said, there has been progress, I am amazed at how far it goes... way out north of the city... The East /West Freeway was in place when I was a teenager... and I assume the plan is to connect the two... Anyway, I was surprised and amused to note the fancy artwork on the current "end of things"... Still a couple of miles away from being connected!!!!

 

Great challenge, I had the perfect photo for it. It was already a search image in real life! And yes, there are at least 3 real dogs on that counter...
