Hello and welcome to the 2nd AJ muse for 2025. This month we are taking inspiration from a well known phrase "Something Old. Something New. Something Borrowed, and Something Blue" that I was reminded of when the youngsters were playing a word game during the holidays. I thought it might make a good muse for us this month. SO for January we are focusing on this Rhyme as it pertains to Art Journaling as opposed to Weddings. Last week's muse was Something Old. This week our muse is Something New. For me something new could be: a new outfit, a new toy a new baby, a new friend a new job, a new house, a new hobby a new experience, a new taste, a new song, a new story a new scrapbooking kit a new font a new game, a new project a fresh clean look a new style There are so many something new things in our lives. I can't wait to see where the muse take you. My Page. The muse took me in this direction: New January BYOC products, and a clean look. I searched my memory for songs that include the word new, and the refrain from "The steadfast Love of the Lord" by Edith McNeill quickly became an ear worm. I then had the idea of trying some new fonts for the wordart. When I looked at the fonts section in the store I found this enormous collection by Tangie Baxter, I didn't know that she sold fonts. The lyrics suggest the beginning of the day, so I went for a sunrise theme to my page design. Now it's Your Turn Your Muse is "Something New" Your creation can be all digital or hybrid.
