Song lyrics are from "'Twas Brilling" song from the Alice in Wonderland movie, words are originally from the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll
Thank you for the challenge. I used Hijo de la Luna by Mecano - the gruesome love story we danced to at our wedding. Full journaling is in the description in the gallery.
Beautiful!! I was going to use that song as well, but I changed my mind at the last minute! I LOVE that song!!!
Here's mine: We waited almost a year from buying the tickets to seeing the show and even though it's been months, I can still feel the awesome-ness of the night! When he sang Yellow Brick Road, I wept through the entire song and I still have to hold back tears whenever it comes on the radio! I will always be able to say I was there at Dodger's Stadium for Elton John's second to last ever concert in the United States. Huggles!! ~Sarah~

oh man, this challenge brought on the emotions for me! As I mentioned in the journaling, this was one of my daughter's favorite songs when she was a little girl. After reading the lyrics to prepare for the challenge, I realized how poignent they are to her life currently. She has been through a major tragedy and is still healing from it, so every smile and glimpse of joy is a huge accomplishment <3 song: "Fireflies" by Faith Hill. (full lyrics & journaling in gallery)
I picked this from a playlist I created some years ago. I would have only been 5 when the song was released by Buffalo Springfield. I'm not exactly sure when I first heard it, but it has been one of my favorites since I was a teenager.
