Fantastic challenge thank you @Mrivas for hosting this challenge and Cheryl @gonewiththewind you rock the templates TYOUUU for this awesome template, I had tonnes of fun playing with your design
OK, this was my very first time EVER using a template. MANY thanks to all of the sweet ladies who found tutorials and offered suggestions for me- I really appreciated your help! It took me a LONG time do this layout (mostly figuring out the millions of elements), so it didn't feel like a time-saver for me, but I will certainly try it again. Maybe I'll improve with practice!
Thank You For The Template But It Was A Little Bit Of A Challenge For Me...I'm Not A Big Clustering Girl But I Do Like Layers & I Really Liked The Design & General Flow Of The Template...I Use The PNGs To Make My Layouts & I Used The Background Paper That Was Included But Turned It Into An Overlay & Changed The Color To A Bright Pink To Coincide With My Bright "New Year" Layout Colors ...I Stayed With The General Design But I Moved Things Around A Lot...I Chose To Put The 3 Rows Of Words In Different Places As Opposed To The Original Idea...I Tried Both Ways & Liked The Random Spacing Look Better But It's Not Really That Random Either...Everything Lines Up Properly & Evenly Just In A Different Way Than The Original Way...I Put A Cluster In The Middle To Give The Layout Some Balance & I Put 4 Small Flower Clusters In Each Corner To Further Anchor The Layout...I Skipped The Tab Where I Was Gonna Put The Year & Lined It Up With The Rest Of The WA/Titles...And Lastly I Decided To Keep The Idea Of The Stars & Beads With A Large Star Scatter Which Went Right With The New Year Theme & Stayed True To The Stars In The Template Design... *Almost Forgot...The Rather Large Bright Background Bokeh-Ish Paper Is An Actual Photo That I Cropped & Manipulated To Look Like This With Added Effects & Textures...I Really Liked The Way It Made My Layout Pop & Went With The Bright Year Ahead Theme I Was Going For... *For My New Year Layout-I Used* *Midnight-Dawn Inskip *Christmas Fun-Candy Cane Cuties-Christmas Lights-Winter Wonderland-All Kits By Kristin Aagard *New Year-Pink Reptile Designs *M3 Explore Papers-Lynne-Marie
Can I just tell you that this was SO DIFFICULT!!!!!!! Usually I'm great with FDD's templates, but I realize now that I always get the dressed down versions. I just couldn't do so many flowers. Then I just deleted them all and kept the bones. I hope it's enough to be recognizable. If not, PLEASE let me know so I don't disqualify myself! Day 13 - Fiddle Dee Dee Template Challenge.
