JANUARY 10: Storytelling with Drop Caps (Journaling Challenge)

Thanks for a great challenge. I learned how to do something new!!

 

This was fun! I did struggle with figuring out what I was going to do my page on, though, since it felt very similar to the challenge from day 1. I'm happy for this chance to journal about a special place, though

 

I love the elegant touch this treatment added to the text!

 

It Is A Winter Mess Weather-Wise Around Here,So I Decided To Tell A Story About That...

I Used:Of Wishes,Hopes & Dreams-Collab By The Lilypad

 

I really had to really think hard to come up with a subject for this challenge, then I decided I would journal about my ever growing extra tasks to do list. This is a busy time for me. Maybe now that I've made a layout about what needs to be done it won't prey on my mind so much.

 

I used Fur Babies by Dawn Inskip.

 

This was fun!

I'm not too crazy about having to do a lot of journaling, but I love the drop cap idea!

 

This was fun since I had never done anything like this - revised layout (mistake on the drop cap)

 

I was really inspired by many of the graphic design pins on Pinterest, which in actuality is way, way out of my normal scrapping comfort zone. I have *gasp* NO elements on my page! The temptation was strong, but I resisted. ETA further challenge I had to extract my photo from a busy background - another something I really hate doing!
