Free Lighting Effect Overlays! (plus a mini tutorial)

    Today I have a different kind of freebie for you! These overlays add a final bit of "oomph" to your layout. To use is easy!

    [​IMG]
    1. Select the overlay of your choice.
    2. Paste the overlay as the TOP layer of your layout.
    3. Change blending mode of the overlay layer to suit your liking
    Some of my favorite blending options are:
    • Linear Burn @ 20% Fill/Opacity
    • Color Burn @ 20% Opacity + Duplicated Overlay Linear Light @ 20% Fill/Opacity
    • Vivid Light @ 33% (this one is a bit fickle depending on the background color)

    These are awesome- thank you! It's so cool how much more digital layouts look like paper pages after the overlays are applied.
