fave colour 2019 edition | Pad Patter 1.18

I must like that color because I have no less than 4 shirts in my closet that are that same color.

My all-time favorite is green. Any color green. My walls in my bedroom are painted dark hunter green - great for sleeping in. The shutters on my house are the same color.

My favorite colors to wear is either red, teal or purple. Those colors seem to match everything, black, denim, khaki. Those two colors are even in my glasses.

But I love my red Explorer!

 

My favorite color is yellow any shade I just love It, such a happy color. It’s funny I don’t wear it often or decorate with it but I love it!

 

Other than two bedrooms and two baths my whole house is yellow in the exact same shade as my former government office. I don't know if it has a name (we only had the #)but it's a happy color that we've loved.

 

1. I love pink! I wear it often... have a pink coat, a pink purse, pink jewelry,etc. However I don't decorate with it. My colors for decorating are red, yellow and green. There is some pink in my bedroom however the main color is green.

2. I love coral! It's almost pink, so I think it falls into that category... I prefer it closer to pink rather than orange however.

 

I am sorry but I really had to chuckle at this. You don't like purple but you like eggplant? IMO, eggplant is a darker shade of purple with a brownish tone to it! I am more of a "royal purple" or "medium purple" lover (per wikipedia colors https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shades_of_purple ).

Isn't it wonderful that there are so many different colors in this wonderful world of ours that make everyone happy!

 

OH PLEASE NO!! Tell me it ain't so! Coral is back????? AAGGHHHHHH!! I lived in Daytona Beach Fl or many years and worked as a designer at the Ethan Allen store in Ormond Beach. The BIG rage, of course, was coral and teal. EVERY WHERE you went, all you saw in design colors were teal and coral. I was SOOOOOO tired of decorating homes in teal and coral, but that is what everyone wanted. I swore it would never enter through the doors of my house, and it hasn't!!!! So-----they can keep their color of the year!!!! It's hard for me to say what I like because there are many colors I am fond of. I am getting ready to paint my bedroom a pale green. I will accent it with blues and yellows.

 

Coral and Watermelon are my faves, so happy to se Coral was selected this year! I’ll be honest its the colour I have painted my nails for the last 10 years, such a happy colour!

 

@NancyP You are right about coral being a tropical color. I used it when I lived in Bangkok. It definitely doesn't go with Michigan weather! it needs that angle of southern light.
