    that looks like Louvre to me, might be wrong, it's been 8 years since I was there, but back then I think there was a shop called Olga right opposite, so I remembered ;)

    Jen you are on the right track when you were thinking of an American area. It is a couple states east of Death Valley in New Mexico. It is the White Sands National Monument. It is just an amazing gypsum dune field. Largest in the world. Anne, if we weren't Midwesterners by birth and choice, New Mexico would be our state of choice. Love, love, love NM.
