So so frustrated right now! I need to get better at periodically saving my page when I am working. I was so into scrapping and didn't even think about saving my page. My kid just looks at me like I am speaking a different language, but I knew you would all understand!
Oh drat! That really stinks! And yes, I've definitely had that happen in the past and it's the worst! Especially when you're making a page you really love! I hope you're able to recreate it quickly!
oh no! that is so frustrating. Sometimes you can recover an unsaved file when you restart Affinity (it will ask you if you want to do it) - but it depends on what caused the crash.
I am happy to report that I got my page done along with a second page. I like the recreation of the first one much better.
Sorry to hear you lost your original page but at least in my experience, like you found, I actually end up preferring the redone page.
This would be me. I never remember to save my page until the end! That habit hasn't been drilled into me yet.UGH!
Glad to hear you like the 2nd version. I do alot of ctrl-s, as I have lost unsaved things to! So now ctrl-s ctrl-s! LOL
I have done that too.. ugh! So sorry... hope reconstructing your page was quick and you were able to scrap it as you wished
