I vote (not that I should have a vote ;) for saving it all for NSD. I think the products will be better. Have fun!
the NSD sales are likely to be 30%. There will be new products and a free with purchase. SOSN is 50%, so if you really like something in SOSN then get that.
Usually end up loving and using sooo much of the kit but the colors aren't really my thing so not sure
I find I tend to drift to the same colour schemes. It's good to push myself to use something different. Normally when I do the results are surprising and amazingly some of my best work.
Feeling very lucky today https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/late-march-22-accountability.53800/#post-1002760
Well job interview has been pushed back til the 7th cause some of the panel members were unable to attend on the 2nd.
Computer is running real sluggish just when I want to scrap of course. Windows won't even do folders in date order right now for some reason
Run a deep antivirus scan and then do maintenance on your drives. Clear out your temp files/cache, etc. and reboot. See if those things help. You may have a virus.
@londoncuppa Turns out I just needed to be patient as all is fine now. The folder was pretty big so was just taking its time to read the contents before doing what I wanted my computer to do. Must be a sign to do a good few hours organising my to sort folder (all 50 odd GB) today plus save for the RAM upgrade from 8 to 16GB.
Time to decide what to get now with my challenge coupon and what can wait til NSD potentially. Don’t want to waste my 30% off that I have.
@littlekiwi Gotcha. I would take a look at Just Jaimee’s past two Storyteller main kits. They have large style packs from Mommyish included. They are fabulous bundles that you can really stretch and get a lot of mileage out of. I think they’re the best value at The Pad. Good luck!
I’m already a storyteller subscriber and get tons of use out of them (the current one not so much as I’ve done 0 scrapping this month)
I am currently loving the frame it style from mommyish. I have gotten so much use out of it because it can be used with pretty much any kit, so I definitely recommend it.
6GB of supplies organized, 51GB to go....,ugh I hate doing the initial organising of supplies. FYI I started organising in Jun 17....
Don’t know if I should do challenges this month, I want to though...feel like I need to take care of “life” for a bit
it’s more that there’s lots of possible balls up in the air at the moment so just debating - job interviews (and maybe just maybe a new job), family possibly in hospital and I need to be getting out for walks before the weather changes much more cause once it’s cold, wet and rainy that’s it!
4x-6 scrappy sessions would be enough to do the challenges anyway as I’m a sporadic scrapper who does 2 or so at a time when mojo is flowing
If you're ever feeling fed-up, just remember that I am sitting at my computer on the other side of the world, typing up 13 page job applications, which will be followed by a written exam, at least two interviews and possibly language testing. #PublicServantProblems
@Juliestcyr this was for a government department (equivalent to public servant) - a 4 page curriculum vitae, cover letter, 5 page self assessment, online application form. I’ve kind of got a rhythm now with job applications as I’ve been going at it for 18 months now.
Oh gods, it's the same thing the world over. At least, as you get into that rhythm, you will be able to reuse a lot of text from previous applications. Fingers crossed. I know it takes forever for these processes to complete, but hopefully something comes up for you soon.
