January 11: On This Day (Journaling Challenge)

So, I struggled with what day to pick (which is why I'm now two days behind on my pages!) But I ultimately decided to go with what I scrap the most - Roxy

It's more of an event of realization. It was a very significant breakthrough kind of day for me.

Great challenge, thank you

 

I choose to write about the day my oldest daughter left for a teaching commitment/contract in Japan. She is saving her money to go to medical school, and she feels this is the best way to go about doing it. She’s still there, and I get emotional every time I think about her being on the other side of the world. I’m hoping she’ll be home in October, but there’s no guarantee.

So I scrapped about 4 different dates, but all for the same reason. The births of my nephews and niece.

 

I'm not a great journaler. I struggled with finding an event. 170 words (157 at the top, 13 on the bottom)
