I wanted so badly to have 2016 be the year that I kept up with my weekly pages. I have weeks one and two complete. My husband took a pretty severe fall on the first day of week 3 and basically, the next 4 weeks were recovery. I just cannot for the life of me, get the motivation to get these pages done and move on. So, once again...I'm behind. Ugghh!!! Any suggestions?
Make some notes, keep any pictures, etc. And do those later. Go on to week 5. Don't let those 2 weeks hold you up if you have the motivation to scrap the next weeks. You never know those weeks might fit into one of the challenges later on.
I've never completed more than a month or two of PL. I too am hoping this is the year. Last week or two weeks ago I finally finished January. I agree with Carilyne. Just take notes and move on. You are the only one telling yourself it has to be done in order. Sometimes being reminded of that is enough for myself to get on with things and get out of my own way. Hope this helps! Good luck!
I'm no help. I pocket scrap but I don't even attempt to scrap chronologically. I scrap events or what I'm in the mood to scrap. Having to keep up with a daily/weekly/monthly schedule makes it more of a task than a hobby for me.
I agree with @carilyne! Pick up with the current week. Once you get motivated again you'll want to go back and finish those pages. I had to skip an entire week last year because of a tragic event that happened that week and I still can't bring myself to scrap that week. It took me a couple of weeks, but I started back at the current week. So, I finished 51 weeks and I'll eventually be able to go back and scrap the missing week.
I have found scrapping the month is easier for me than working on the weeks. Some weeks are just so dull around here. I also do like Cath said and will document random things like books, movies and tv to help with those days we just don't get out of the house. If you just are stuck stuck stuck do like carilyne said and take notes, photos, etc and don't feel bad coming back to it later!
He is, thank you! He still feels some discomfort but he's back to work and isn't on any restrictions. Thanks for asking
