Hi everyone....Dana is having so technical issues, so I'm going to take over. Hop on over the the chat room for today's speed scrap! =) Here are the instructions for the speed scrap. You will have 1 hour after it ends to complete your LO...so 3pm EST. Please post your LO in the gallery and in this thread. 1. Choose a photo...it should be rectangular in shape and horizontal/landscape in orientation. Center it in the middle of your page, vertically and horizontally. 2. You will need THREE papers - 2 patterned and 1 neutral. Start with one of the patterns as your background, then layer the next patterned paper on top, slightly smaller than the background, and then the neutral paper, slightly smaller than that....so your neutral paper is in the majority with the 2 patterned papers as mats. 3. Around/under the photo, you will need a doodle frame, or some paint, or a mat....something to help make that photo stand out! 4. We need 2 clusters (I define clusters as 2 or more elements...so no worries) - The first one should be near the top left corner of the page and MUST include the date some how...on a tag, or banner, or something...but that's where the date goes. The second one should be near the bottom right corner of the page...you can do anything you'd like here. Washi tape and word are are a go-to for me, if you need some ideas. The clusters do no need to touch the photo. 5. Lastly, we need some journaling, centered beneath the photo...can be anything from a list of words describing the memory to a full blown story. 6. Anything else that makes the page YOU! Have fun! a HUGE thanks to @lcpereyra for the inspiration!
looking at my page, i must just look at life a little 'wonkier' than others - lol! thanks for a fun chat & speed scrap!
Thanks for the fun SS. I had to move my journaling because I couldn't read it under my flourish and I so wanted to keep the flourish. Here's mine:
