This is a journaling challenge. You must include at least one sentence of journaling that describes your year 2015. Today's challenge is the Year in Review challenge. Now that we're a few weeks into 2016, I want you to take a look back at the past year and make a page about 2015. You can choose to make a summary page about your year with lots of photos, or focus on your journaling to describe the events of the past year, or perhaps a combination of both. Or maybe you want to scrap about one defining moment or theme of your year. So do some reflection, and then share your 2015 memories with us! Here's my page: And if you want, here are some Year In Review templates (or month in review templates that can be re-purposed) in the shop to get you off to a running start: Year in Review: Modern Templates and Eclectic Templates by Sahlin Studio Press Plate No. 27 and Timeline (layered templates) by Paislee Press Aspen {Page Designs} by Sara Gleason Year in Review Photo Collage Templates by Just Jaimee and Mommyish In Review 12x12 Layered Templates by One Little Bird Doodled Pocket Pages: Round Ups #2, #3, and #4 by Kate Hadfield Designs and Nicole Russell Year in Review {Dressed Up} and Year in Review 2 {Dressed Up} by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs Year In Review {Dressed Down} and Year In Review 2 {Dressed Down} by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs Requirements: 1. Your page must be about 2015, either a summary of your year or one defining moment or theme of your year. 2. The word(s) '2015' or 'Two Thousand Fifteen' or 'Twenty Fifteen' must appear on your page. 3. You need to have at least one sentence of journaling on your page. Word art or word snippets do not count towards this requirement. Please also remember to follow the standard MOC rules: Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Please post your page in your page thread you created in this forum. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. You should also post your page here in this thread, and people can comment here if they wish. Pages should contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers. All layouts are due by 11:59 p.m. on February 2.
My favorite thing to do on the back of our family albums is to pick highlight pictures from the year!
Oh boy. Well I guess it does need recorded no matter how many bad things happened. I've been hinting at it in my journaling. Whee! We can blur the journaling right? As long as I leave a sentence to be seen? And I'm not sure how to blur the words, so here's my dumb question for the night -- can someone tell me how to do it in paintshop? This will be good for me. This will be good... (my mantra for the night)
This came together really easy for me. At the end of the year I had put together a collage for Facebook of my favorite 15 photos. And yes I realize that all of them are of my nieces. LOL I reworked that collage into a scrapbook layout. I love how it all turned out. Great that this will now be included in my scrapbook. I think I will do it each year going forward. Here is my layout Thank you for the great challenge!
Just noticed this after uploading. Please say "twenty fifteen" is okay, because I never ever say "two thousand fifteen"! :/
Thanks for the template suggestions, With Sara Gleason's Aspen {page designs} it all came together quickly.
In mine, (which is paint shop pro 9) you'd want to create your text, and convert it to a raster layer if it is vector. You can adjust the blur by clicking adjust/blur/Gaussian blur.
