Jan. 8: One Word (Journaling Challenge)

"A positive word that represents me? Nope, I do not find. Finally, I find a lot, but each of them are only a small piece of me, especially at certain times. I am sometimes funny, sometimes playful, sometimes serious, sometimes creative, sometimes justified, sometimes organized (ah ... no, I'm almost always organized ... but it sucks to be organized), sometimes curious, sometimes childlike, sometimes joyful, sometimes ... And yet, there are only positive words!"

 

finally getting to these darn journaling challenges!

I typed out the journaling in the credits, since it's sorta hard to read on here!

 

I had originally picked a different word to use, but the journaling wasn't turning out the way I wanted. The words just sounded wrong. So as I was thinking about other words to describe me I thought about my love of history and genealogy. I came up with Storyteller because I am a bit of the family storyteller/genealogist. I love being able to uncover the stories of our family and share them with others, often through scrapbooking. Storytellers are important because if no one tells our stories they will be lost forever. I included the full journaling in my layout description.

 

MOC 8 - Journaling One Word -
This is one of my BFF's (on the right. Her name is Amanda). I'm the one on the left, although my hair doesn't look like that anymore. ANYWAY, I love her like a sister. She is very special to me. Kit used is Bear Hugs by Kristin Aagard Designs.
