It's come to my attention that it wasn't made clear that MOC pages need to be posted to the TLP gallery before posting them to the challenge threads and to your main layout thread. Please make sure you are uploading all your pages to the gallery, not just uploading them to the thread via from your computer, or from another hosting site.

Per the gallery rules, you should list all your credits in your upload. You cannot link to non-TLP product, and your pages must be 250K or less. You should size your layouts to 72 dpi, at around 600x600-ish (some CTs require slightly larger, which is okay if it keeps your pages below 250K). We have noticed some pages at 1800x1800, or even 3600x3600, which is too large. Please let us know if you have any questions!

    Thanks!

It does not. You can upload to the Member Gallery, or an individual designer's gallery, or any others!

How do I know how big (pixel size) my layout is? When I do "Save to Web" in PSE I just reduce it enough to get under the 250k.

If you go to one of your pages in the gallery, just above the first comment there's a comments tab and an information tab. If you click on the information tab it tells you how large your layout is. Your photoless layout is 232K and 720x720

In the save to web screen you can adjust the image size to 600x600 and then I go up to the tip top right corner and there is a menu. Click that and select "Optimize File Size" I select 249 and then save. That way, I get the highest quality for the gallery.

Thanks so much for these guidelines! I'm sure mine are too large, sorry! Is there a way to fix the files? Or should we just make sure we are good going forward.

    Appreciate the info!

Just make the changes moving forward, since editing pages isn't possible right now. I'd hate to have you lose your comments! Thanks!

Julie - quick question and I apologize if this has been addressed somewhere else. :backing
When we post layouts, are we still adding them to multiple galleries, i.e.: MPM, individual designers, SOSN, etc., like we did prior to updates to the Lilypad? Are there instructions somewhere?
    Thank you!!

Unfortunately uploading to multiple galleries isn't possible with the software as it stands. We're working on an upgrade to that but for now, just upload to whatever gallery makes the most sense, and then you can tag additional galleries and designers! :agree

I have a Save For Web freebie on my blog if that will help anyone prepare their layouts for uploading to the gallery.

I can upload to the main gallery. I haven't posted since the Big Changes came to TLP. So my question is, when I want to post to the individual challenges, which option on the right side do I choose to post the image that also links to the gallery??
    Many thanks!

Phew, I just thought about this earlier and wondered if I had saved them wrong. I guess I was under the assumption the gallery wouldn't accept a file larger than 250k so I figured I was good. I promise to comply going forward!
