Oh I have The Lake House on my Kindle! This would be a perfect opportunity to read it ... it keeps getting shunted down my TBR pile as new books get added
Hello all! I'm very excited about the book club and am glad I stumbled in here tonight! I want to be more involved in the forum even though I do tend to be a forum lurker, I get nervous and start thinking that nobody cares what I have to say, so I don't post much. A book club is just what I need to bring me out of my comfort zone and participate more!! I voted for All the Light, although all 3 books look great, and I'm up for whatever gets voted for!!
I have the Nightingale here on my nightstand as my next read, but I will join in whichever is chosen!
Cannot wait to get involved in this! Reading lists/clubs (amongst 5000 other things is on my list of 2016 must do's!) I'm up for any of them!
So exciting! I'm going to try to participate. If I can remember how to read. Left to right, top to bottom?
Oh fun! Voted for the Doerr because I recently read it for a church book club I'm hosting in February. . #WorkSmarterNotHarder And. . It was amazing. Definitely one that stays with you a while.
I loved Mark Tufo's series 'Zombie Fallout' - you have to try it! Its funny, irreverent, with a whole new twist on the zombie.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&...vptwo=&hvqmt=b&hvdev=t&ref=pd_sl_69ub3htxua_b Glad I'm not the only one who likes to mix it up I tend to bounce around all genres: from Jane Austin to Ben Arronovitch, to JK Rowling...with a little walking dead thrown in for variety.
I will need to have a look if I can get any of those in the library because I know in Kindle I missed having the Lake House very cheap....and the others cost money...but there is no way, even if I rescue any of these, that I can read in a month...not at the moment I will try follow though!!!!
The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah My sil read this book ( huge reader ) and she said it was one of the best books she has read.
